hey, I'm amy
I'm probably best known as @theasianisraeli, but you can call me Amy.
I'm a native-Californian-turned-Tel Avivit. Sure, I work in hi-tech, love brunch, and have a cute puppy, but I'm more than your basic TLV bitch. From Sabich wars to election breakdowns, current events and how-to tips, check out my Instagram for Olim (immigrant) struggles, mixed-girl perspectives, and at minimum a laugh.
Through my personal journey I've found that more often than not, humans don't fit any kind of mold. I sure don't! The goal here is to open eyes to new perspectives, inspire conversations, and do it all with a sprinkle of entertainment through my life experience as a Chinese-American-Jewish-Israeli.
I hope to make you laugh, to make you cry, and to inspire you to share your own unique truth!
